about
A parody of "What A Wonderful World." Original song was written by Bob Thiele (as "George Douglas") and George David Weiss.
lyrics
Is This a Wonderful World
I see seas once green, and soldiers too
I’ve seen them die both serving you
and I say to myself…is this a wonderful world?
I hear words untrue and screams in the night
Once blessed day is now dark amplified
and I say to myself…is this a wonderful world?
The colors of the rainbow once pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of those travelers you denied
I see you shaking hands saying how do you do
When both of us know that its all about you
I hear babies crying, I’ll watch them grow
They'll hurt much more than I'll ever know
and I say to myself…is this our wonderful world?
Yes, I say to myself…is this our wonderful world?

ALBUM OF THE YEAR, easily.
effortlessly on a par with X's vintage catalogue, "Alphabetland" is a solid testimony of a band as vibrant, creative and urgent as ever. Honestly, it's THAT good. Strongly recommended. ramblinerikk

How in holy Hell did this escape me? I’m a Danzig fan to the bone, and this album has been rumored for years. I’ll blame Covid.
Does it survive expectations? I’ll report back. In the meantime, I just ordered the vinyl and will likely never put the needle to it. But I want it.
Update: This is fantastic. I’m more of a Sun Records era Presley fan, but that period wouldn’t have suited Danzig. He sounds great here and pays proper respect to the material. Lute FP
